Share Thought Field Therapy with the people of the Gulf Coast.

As the hope that the oil spill in the Gulf coast may be coming an end it is time to address the immediate and long term stress of those people living all along the coast.  This is a technological disaster beyond any in American history.  These resilient peoples have endured and survived the natural disasters of massive hurricanes over the years but this is something very different.  Communities with renewable resources like fisheries and recreational tourism are dependent on their environment for their livelihood, lifestyle, and cultural connection.  By using a Conservation of Resources model of traumatic stress research on other technological disasters such as the Exxon Valdez oil spill it is clear that the many of the people of the Gulf will suffer greatly – some more than others.   The closer you are to a life connected to what is spoiled by the oil’s destruction the more you will feel the stress.  Share what you know about reducing the overwhelm stress with Thought Field Therapy.  Recovery will be a long process and complicated by the fact that human beings’ decisions have caused the losses.
